Gothic Sugar is the alias of the artist Alicia Michelle who works primarily in acrylic, watercolor, and dry media.
Her work has a fanciful twist and is often described as sweet, cute, and creepy. But morbid fantasy tends to be the most descriptive.

I’m still trying to figure out the pony to art values. Obviously high priority items, hard to find items, and especially G1’s will be worth more in the way of art. Blind bags with the exception of the Princesses will be worth a bit less than anything else.
For those who’re interested in doing trades for MLP FiM, they’re the ones called g4 and are at the bottom of the list. This one actually has a bit more than the other since I just thought to add stuff.

And you read that right. I will in fact take ponies in exchange for commissions. Honestly I would prefer money, but since I do collect ponies, I’ll be happy to barter. I’ll probably post a wishlist in a few hours/days of things I’m willing to trade for art.

This was supposed to be a sample piece for my “simple” shaded commissions on the human version of my commission sheet. Naturally I went overboard. So I decided to save this version and then go back to it and scale it down for the commission sheet.

This is the current progress on the last piece I posted. I haven’t had the chance to work on it daily, so hopefully it’ll be finished soon. I tried a different technique with the coloring.

I thought I would take a screenshot of the sketch and the work in progress for this one. You can kind of see where I’m going in fixing up a few things. She looked a bit off even though she’s already leaning to the side, so I fixed the (original) hair style which was making it look worse than it was.
